keeping shtum

i know, i know, my blog has seen little activity of late and this is due to tedium overload. is it just me or has it has become de rigeur to write about every single last detail of one's life and then post it on the internet? i am so bored of reading about the minutiae of peoples' lives, go on, have a flick through, you will soon see what i am talking about. initially it can be exciting to eavesdrop into somebody's life but when they start ranting about plastic bags, moaning about poor service then i am going to switch off. so, for the time being, i am not saying anything, not moaning, not complaining, not praising the latest chocolate merchandise, no, i am keeping my mouth shut. oh, and i couldn't find a decent pic either. enough said.

Mmmm! I like the lips.

Have to agree that there are a lot of rantish blogs and they can be interesting for around 20 nanoseconds.

However they do seem to attract the highest traffic, maybe because sometime they resemble a car wreck!

We are all voyeurs, I guess, and many bloggers are exhibitionists.

I think the nature of the web and blogs in particular lends itself to "flicking thru". After all, we have newspapers and magazines to read over in an attentive or leisurely manner.

The personal blog is particularly hard to keep up as people don't continually have "thoughts of substance". It's probably easier if you write about a specific topic - poetry, techonology, food.
Forums are more conducive to general chit chat.
Like the old saying:
Let it go.
If it comes back to you, it is yours:
If it doesn't - it probably never was.

Much love, peace and respect.

they are geisha lips, which i found quite appealing too.

i suspect that many bloggers play to their audience, recording every inconsequential conversation and replaying it for their adoring public. i read on one site how the blogger loved blogging because it made them go out and do things. call me a cynic but surely you should go out and do something because you want to go out and do something?

i guess maybe i don't really know where my blog is heading, or whether i have the ability to keep it alive but i do know that i won't be going to the pot luck sex toy party just because it would give me something to write about.

I notice that all of your posts receive many replies - possibly a testament to the quality of your blog.
I don't know.
